We ve begged him to get therapy or medicines or something else just to try it, but he won t.

The door s open any time for him but he often says very deeply hurtful things to me because he knows nothing about me and I guess doesn t really think about how what he says affects others.

When I was about 8 I cried and begged him to be nicer, and he heard me but I guess he just can t really do that.

He s never given me life advice of any sort, or asked me questions about my day, or ever done anything just to be nice, or really been a dad to me ever.
