I geuss I got so caught up in it, I tolerated his wierd and all around the place prank personality and told myself that apparantly that's attractive.

What I do know is after our constant fights and reunions where I held grudges and pretended to like him, because half of me felt I needed him to maintain the friends I have and another half wanted me to juice more new friends out of him.
