We don't want to mess up and give him something that will hurt him, so does anyone know of anyway to deal with a cold or congestion with a four month old baby that is safe for him?

I don't know much about babies, it's been a long time since my mom had to deal with any small babies so she's kind of rusty and my brother is new to being a dad so we really don't know what to do.
