I'm not worth the time and effort he puts into me and I've told him that but he refuses to accept it and keeps pointing out all the stuff I've done for him instead.

This has to stop, and I'm not saying I don't enjoy it because I do, but I also understand with my mental state I wouldn't be able to love him back and it be natural feeling.

I have never answered him when he says it and recently his behavior has included touching me and pulling me into hugs on the couch even though he knows I don't really like being touched.

I've known this guy for a little over a year and he's shy like I am, though he's also good looking (to me anyway) and sweet when you get to know him.
