They're boy crazy. 18-21 year olds often don't act much like adults, but instead more like teenagers and they have more common interests with teenagers than with an older adult too (music, fashion, partying, etc).

College girls sometimes act like a bunch of giggly pre-teen middle schoolers except they have more freedom and they're physically developed, etc.
